My name is Maria Fulvia, but everyone calls me Mafy.
I decided to become a wedding planner in Umbria because I have always been a fan of love and I believe that the day two people choose to say “yes” to each other deserves to be experienced with depth, excitement, and serenity.
Villa Taticchi is my home: I was born and raised here among the scent of flowers and the laughter of garden parties.

For years I travelled and worked abroad – between the Caribbean, London and America – without yet knowing that one day I would came back and become a wedding planner.
These experiences have taught me to be curious, to have an open mind and empathize with different stories and cultures.
As time went by, I developed the desire to help people fulfil their dream of love, accompanying them on one of the most important moments of their lives.
In 2020 I came back to my roots, to Villa Taticchi: a place buzzing with emotions and memories, where every corner holds many small, great stories to tell.
Today I organize weddings and events not only here, but throughout Umbria, always carrying the spirit of this house with me.
For me, the emotional factor is the driving force behind everything.
Every wedding is like a tailor-made dress that we sew together, idea after idea, decoration after decoration.
My work starts with listening: to your history, your desires and even your smallest indecisions.
I like to observe the details and capture the nuances that colour your personalities, because this is the only way can I create something that truly represents you.
Where do I get my inspiration from? From the way you talk about each other and from your dreams. And then a lot of imagination, research and intuition.
Amae is a Japanese word that, in its purest form, means to trust with confidence, letting go with the certainty that someone will take care of us, gently.
And this is concisely my philosophy.
I believe in the power of sharing and in authentic bonds, made of listening and presence, which allow the bride and groom to feeling welcomed, understood and free to experience every emotion without feeling vulnerable.
